El presente documento tiene como prop\u00f3sito examinar la evoluci\u00f3n de la poblaci\u00f3n residente en la Regi\u00f3n Metropolitana de Santiago (RMS) que se encuentra inscrita en el RSH. Para estos efectos, el an\u00e1lisis abarca el per\u00edodo 2017-2022 con base en la informaci\u00f3n disponible en la plataforma web ADIS (Analista Digital de Informaci\u00f3n Social) a junio de cada a\u00f1o. Para efectos de lo anteriormente se\u00f1alado, el documento ha sido estructurado en cuatro secciones. En la primera de ellas se efect\u00faa el an\u00e1lisis de la evoluci\u00f3n global de la poblaci\u00f3n regional inscrita en el RSH compar\u00e1ndola con las proyecciones de poblaci\u00f3n elaboradas por el INE con base en los resultados del Censo 2017. La segunda secci\u00f3n extiende el an\u00e1lisis anterior a la trayectoria seguida por la poblaci\u00f3n presente en el RSH desagreg\u00e1ndola por sexo y grupos de edad, efectuando siempre la comparaci\u00f3n respecto de la proyecci\u00f3n del grupo de poblaci\u00f3n correspondiente. En la tercera secci\u00f3n se presenta la informaci\u00f3n relacionada con el desglose de la poblaci\u00f3n inscrita en el RSH dependiendo de la comuna de residencia. Como siempre, este dato es comparado con la estimaci\u00f3n de poblaci\u00f3n comunal con el prop\u00f3sito de identificar las comunas con los mayores d\u00e9ficits de cobertura. Por \u00faltimo, la cuarta -y \u00faltima- secci\u00f3n presenta las principales conclusiones que es posible realizar a partir de an\u00e1lisis elaborado en las secciones
